David Ainsworth
David has over two decades of work in communications management, marketing, and campaign development in the field of biodiversity and sustainable development.
He led the strategy and branding for the 2010 International Year of Biodiversity which then was transformed into the United Nations Decade on Biodiversity. Recently he developed branding for the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
His work on biodiversity campaigns has shown his ability to harness ideas, resources, and creativity. His work has involved IUCN, WWF international, GIZ, WAZA, UEBT, UNDP, UNEP, the GEF, FAO, CGIAR, and a host of others.
David possesses strong communication skills, complimented by years of management experience.
His experience in communication is built upon his doctoral training in political science from McGill University.
