Ines Benabdallah

Ines is an environmental specialist and part of the International Waters focal area team. She is responsible for the marine portfolio in Africa and Asia. 

Before joining the Global Environment Facility, Ines worked in the United Nations system for over 8 years as a project manager implementing GEF-funded projects - such as the ISLANDS program - and brings expertise in project design, management, and evaluation. 

She holds a BSc in biology and an MSc in environmental science, management, and legislation.
