Regine Mpoyi
Regine Mpoyi, a dual US/Congolese (DRC) national joined the Global Environment Facility as a Program Assistant in 2010. Regine has more than 20 years of experience in providing administrative, managerial, and operations support to a diverse range of sectors and teams. Prior to Joining the GEF, she worked in the World Bank's Africa Energy Sector for more than 10 years.
She works as a SAP Transaction Processor, helping with contracting administrative services and consulting services (e.g., hiring firms and consultants). Regine processes contracts and payments, supports resource management, work programs, and budget. She also contributes to the coordination of GEF events and meetings.
Regine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French literature and business and administration management from Universite Libre de Bruxelles, Chambre de Commerce-Belgium; and has an associate’s degree in secretarial studies from Valley Secretarial College in Nairobi, Kenya.
Regine speaks French, English, Swahili, and Lingala.
